‘The X Factor Australia’ 2011 premieres August 29 on Seven

The highly anticipated second season of ‘The X Factor Australia’ will premiere August 29th on Seven.

The
national singing search of 2011 will debut over four nights- Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the audition process. Judges Mel B,
Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Ronan Keating and Guy Sebastian have toured
the country to find Australia’s brightest new singers.

The four judges take on mentoring roles in the categories- Boys under 25, Girls under 25, the over 25s and the Groups.

The
Fremantle production, hosted by Luke Jacobz, will start with auditions,
then Boot Camp, top 24 and finally the top 12 live shows.

Throughout
the series, celebrity appearances will be made by music superstars
Leona Lewis, Good Charlotte, Jason Derulo, The Veronicas, Darren Hayes,
Sporty Spice Mel C, Wynter Gordon and Beyonce!

The competition
this year will also feature a number of younger contestants with the
singing search now open to singers 14 years and above.

‘The X Factor Australia’ premieres Monday August 29th at 7:30pm on Seven.
